INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES

Computer Centre : KIT has an Air- Conditioned core computer centre in addition to departmental computer laboratory. The Laboratory is equipped with application softwares like Oracale, Visual Basic & various Programming Languages. Required terminals and printers are also available.

Internet: The Institute has 8mbps capacity of broad-band Internet facilities. Students can browse relevant websites and download educational materials round the clock as per their requirement.Engineering of the students as per the prescribed syllabus of B.P.U.T.

Basic Electronics Lab and AEC Lab: Well equipped with electronic gadgets, components and training kits, these serve to acquire relevant knowledge and skills of Engineering education. Qualified technical supporting staff are guiding the students during conduct of relevant Experiments

Basic Electrical Engineering Lab and Machine Lab:
Qualitative equipments for conducting Experiment and required precautionary measures are available. The labs are designed and the equipments are installed by our won Faculties and Technical staff  

Communicative English Lab:
With a view to enhance the communication skill of students, the Institute facilitated the communicative English Lab with Orell software, which is first in its kind in South Orissa.

Hostel : The Institute maintains five hostels, three boys and two girls at Berhampur town. Hostels have provisions for common T.V., Telephone facility & newspaper.  Care is taken to provide good sanitation & hygienic surroundings and medical facilities. A new hostel for Boys with 300 students capacity is coming up in KIT campus.

Transport: The Institute has twelve buses, each having 45 seating capacity. Comfortable transport facilities for the students and staff to the campus from Berhampur city have been ensured to maintain the punctuality in academic activities.

First-Aid Centre: Separate two beded First –Aid Centers are functioning in the Institute for girls and boys students. Equipped with required medical equipments the centers are taken care by an experienced pharmacist and medical practitioner.

Training & Placement Cell: To cater the need of technical training, personality development, communicative skills of students, the Institute provided the T & P cell in the campus under the supervision of a Training & Placement officer with proven work experience of more than 15 years in corporate sector and Industry in India and abroad.
